We are looking for a Junior Accountant in Greece to join our client, a large finance business service company serving a wide range of clients located in Greece, Bulgaria and the UK.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities as a Junior Accountant :
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Payments processing
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Requirements
What are the requirements in this Junior Accountant role:
- Native or near native level of Bulgarian and excellent knowledge of English
- 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar position
- BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or economics
- Experience in Accounting and payments
- Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting softwares
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
